Dakedai Forest Nature Observation and Education Area

Tomeyama is a mountain where logging was "stopped" (tome) since the Edo period to secure water sources. Here, you can enjoy trekking through a natural broadleaf forest primarily composed of beech trees. The walking trails are well-maintained, making it an easy forest to explore.To enter the mountain, the accompaniment of a local "Happō Town Certified Guide" is required to prevent environmental degradation.
