Isasumi Jinja Shrine
Considered one of the most prestigious shrines in the Aizu region, with a history said to span about 2,000 years. Since ancient times, it has been deeply worshipped by locals as a deity for business prosperity, protection against evil, and matchmaking. A sacred and dignified atmosphere fills the vast grounds. Through seasonal events like the Iris Festival in early summer, visitors can feel the depth of traditional Japanese culture and spirituality.
