Mt. Daisen
A famous peak with an altitude of 1,729 m, also called "Hoki Fuji," it has been revered since ancient times as a sacred mountain of mountain worship. It has two faces: an elegant appearance like Mt. Fuji when seen from the west, and a rough expression shown by the cliffs on the north side. Covered in one of Western Japan's largest primeval beech forests, it offers overwhelming beauty of the four seasons, such as fresh green, autumn foliage, and winter snow scenery.
