It holds the history of &#8220;Onnadatera Dorui&#8221; (Embankment by Women), a legend where women and even children of the Choshu Domain cooperated to build it overnight to prepare for attacks by foreign ships. The mounds of earth quietly remaining in the pine forest tell the story of the sense of crisis and strong unity of the people at that time. Today, it has become a beautiful walking path with pine forests and white sand beaches, where you can walk while feeling the traces of history and receiving the sea breeze.
